Role Overview: We are a fast-paced, dynamic company looking for a driven and detail oriented Junior HR Generalist to join our team. Requirements (Experience, Skills, and Qualifications) • National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management • 4 years’ experience in an HR of which 2 years must be in an HR support role such as an HR Coordinator • Exposure to the full HR value chain (recruitment, onboarding, employee relations support, performance processes, payroll assistance, and L&D coordination) • Experience using HR systems/HRIS • Prior involvement in HR projects (engagement initiatives, wellness days, or staff events) is a strong plus • Proficient in MS Office Suite • Strong attention to detail is non-negotiable Duties and Responsibilities 1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding • Assist with drafting job adverts and posting on relevant platforms. • Screen CVs and assist with compiling shortlists. • Schedule interviews, send invitations, and coordinate assessments. • Conduct reference checks and assist with background verification. • Prepare offer letters and new hire packs. • Coordinate onboarding activities: inductions, welcome mailers, orientation sessions. • Maintain recruitment tracker and ensure data accuracy. 2. Employee Relations • Keep disciplinary and grievance records up to date. • Draft warnings, notices, and related documentation. • Attend hearings as HR note-taker or observer (learning support role). • Provide employees with guidance on HR policies (with escalation where needed). • Track probation reviews and remind managers/HRBP of upcoming deadlines. |
